PSMLA News Update: Multiple PD Opportunities

Indiana University of Pennsylvania's Spring Methodology Conference

The IUP Spring Methodology Conference  will take place on April 20, 2018 at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex (KCAC) on the IUP campus!

We have an excellent keynote speaker this year - Linda Egnatz, ACTFL's K12 Teacher of the year for 2014, as well as a full and exciting program of presenters!  

Registration deadline is April 2, 2018.  Cost for registration is $80 which includes coffee, pastry, and a full buffet lunch.

Story Listening and Comprehensible Input Workshop

PSMLA is pleased to announce that Drs. Stephen Krashen and Beniko Mason are coming to West Chester University August 3rd and 4th, 2018 to conduct a two-day workshop titled, “Story Listening and Comprehensible Input”. The workshop is being sponsored by Stories First. $160 for attendees; $90 for students. PSMLA members receive ACT-48 credit.

CALPER Summer Workshop Series for Language Educators

The Center for Advanced Language Proficiency Education and Research (CALPER) at Penn State is pleased to announce its 2018 summer workshop series for language educators. 
 

CALPER - the Center for Advanced Language Proficiency Education and Research, a national Title VI Language Resource Center - at Penn State is offering six summer workshops for language educators this June. Five are for teachers of all languages - one is for teachers of Chinese.
