PSMLA and Mercyhurst University invite K-12 language and ESL teachers to Immersion Day 2016!

Want to spend a day with your colleagues, practice the language you teach, and have some fun along the way? Join us at Mercyhurst University.  Enjoy some time with your colleagues, practice the language you teach, and earn ACT 48 credits!

8:30-1:30

Schedule

8:30 -9:00 am             Registration and Light Breakfast
9:00 – Noon                2 sessions on culture and pedagogy presented in the target language for Spanish, French, Mandarin; sessions on ESL methodology for ESL teachers.

Noon – 1:30 pm          Discuss pedagogy over lunch

Lunch will be held at Mercyhurst and is included in the fee below.

Price:   $35 for members of PSMLA

            $55 for non-members of PSMLA

or         $85 for non-members of PSMLA (Fee includes membership in PSMLA for 2016)

The state language conference will be held in Erie in October.  Joining will allow you to pay the lower member rate for the fall conference this year.

4 Hours of Act 48 credit are available for PSMLA members only.
