PSMLA Outstanding High School Graduating World Language Student Awards applications are due April 11, 2019.
PSMLA Teacher of the Year: This program is intended to select viable candidates for the ACTFL Teacher of the Year. The deadline for nominations is April 20, 2019.
PSMLA Outstanding World Language Educator of the Year: Consider nominating a K-12 educator or a post-secondary educator. The deadline for application is April 20, 2019.
Are you a teacher of Spanish looking for an amazing opportunity to study this summer? The deadline for application for the Cemanahuac Award is fast approaching. The date for your application is April 15, 2019.

PSMLA Workshop at Messiah College
*Register by March 25!
PSMLA is hosting its 4th annual workshop for language teachers at Messiah College on Saturday, March 30. This interactive workshop will focus on strategies for sustaining 90%+ target language use by teachers and students as well as activities to practice and assess interpersonal speaking. Registration includes a continental breakfast as well as a lunch with conversation in the target language. PSMLA members can earn 3 Act 48 hours as well as discounted registration rates.

CIEE Global Navigator Programs

Global Language Project
The Global Language Project has now opened applications for their Summer STARTALK program for teachers of Arabic, Mandarin, and Korean languages.
Interested persons can find further details here on the GLP website. They are accepting applications until April 15, 2019; however, it is recommended that teachers apply early.
